In the wake of
Citizens United v. FEC, much of the talk has centered on fears that special interests will take over the political process now that the Court has ruled that corporations get the same free speech rights as people. Especially in the context of the health care debate, we have heard accusations from both sides of the aisle that special interests have derailed the health care bill.
